Wonder Woman is delayed
"Wonder Woman 1984" has been moved back further from its original release date of Oct. 2nd to an unannounced date later in the year. Theaters in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York are still not open to the public. The release dates for 2021 are currently packed with features that wisely emerged from the 2020 blast range and are claimed for safer dates in the future when the industry hopes that quarantine gets lifted and movie theaters are able to open again.

Naomi Osaka wins the US Open
Naomi Osaka has arrived at the US Open in pursuit of a third Grand Slam win. She beat Victoria Azarenka, and left New York as more than just any fabulous tennis player. Osaka has mixed her skill at court with increasing awareness of racial inequality. As in her six previous matches at this US Open, Osaka was wearing a mask on Saturday that displayed the name of different Black victims who have all been affected by police brutality. She is the first female player to have tallied three majors under 23 since Maria Sharapova.

CDC Documents Children at Care Facilities Spreading Coronavirus
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have recently reported cases in which children who contracted COVID-19 from childcare facilities have transmitted the virus. Despite having mild to no symptoms, those children have recently tested positive. Containment techniques may have restricted the spread in hospitals, but there are still issues as to how children got infected from facilities. It is also noted that some kids who are too young to wear masks can still spread the virus. Though children are doing better than adults, the CDC has warned that children can still "develop a severe infection" from the disease.

Toots Hibbert, a Father of Reggae, Is Dead
Toots Hibbert, one of reggae music's leaders, whose vocals imbued the sound of the genre with an influence derived from American soul, died recently in Kingston, Jamaica on Friday evening. His death was reported by his band "Toots and the Maytals" on their social media accounts. He was the first to use the word reggae on an album, and helped introduce Jamaica's sounds to the world. No reason has been confirmed, but he was recently admitted to hospital for COVID-19 symptoms.

CDC blocks evictions
From the start of the year, the federal government have blocked landlords from evicting thousands of homeowners, but it hasn't stopped some property owners from attempting to kick out tenants.The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a national order with the potential to save millions of hard-held tenants from being kicked out for not paying rent, as long as they met certain requirements and took the steps to prove their landlord that they are qualified for protection.
