Apple hosts its Annual Apple Event 

On Tuesday Sept., 15, Apple hosted its media event to introduce new looks for upcoming Apple products as well as what's to come in new updates to existing products. Apple Watch SE and higher-end Apple Watch Series 6 will soon be hitting the stores shelves. The Series 6 watch will come in at around $399, with new updates, and the SE will go just below it for $279. Apple also announced its new generation of the iPad Air and the 8th generation iPad, which both include a new lock button on the side with a built-in touch ID sensor. Apple will be launching its newest IOS 14 update which they say is their "biggest update ever" to their OS software.

Louisville grants $12 Million settlement to Breonna Taylor's family

Six Months after the killing of Breonna Taylor, 26-year-old EMT shot by a police officer while in her bed during a raid of suspected drug packages, the family who filed a lawsuit against the city comes home with $12 Million and police reforms included in the settlement. This comes with using social workers to help in police runs with any background information and police requirements to review warrants and get approval before retrieving judicial support. However Taylor's family, is still calling for the arrest of the policemen that killed their beloved family member.

Taylors mother stated "It is time to move forward with the criminal charges because she deserves that and much more."

There is a petition on change.org, which has over 11 million signatures, that calls for the charges against officers John Mattingly, Brett Hankison, Myles Cosgrove, and Joshua Jaynes.

NFL Week 2 Power Rankings: Patriots soar behind Cam Newton, Eagles plummet after blowing big lead

As the opening weekend of the NFL came to an end, the final remaining game on Monday night came as the Denver Broncos faced off Against the Tennessee Titans. Titans Linebacker, Rashaan Evans was ejected from the game for punching Denver Broncos' Tight End, Jake Butt in the first half of the game in an act of anger. The game endedwith the Tennessee Titans winning, 16-14, after they were led by Quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who threw for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Titans struggled in the kicking game as newly signed kicker Stephen Gostkowski missed 3 field goals and 1 extra point. Gostkowski however would be the one to seal the final 3 points and give the Titans their first win of the season.

Wildfires Continue to Blaze In the West.

Wildfires have continued to spread throughout California and Oregon with over 3.2 million acres burned and 25 fatalities. Records indicate there have been over 2000 more wildfires than last year. Mexico has sent volunteer firefighters from the Guanajuato Fire Department to Ashland, Oregon. The entire western US combines has had over 4.7 million acres gone up in flames, high winds and thick smoke clouds are making it difficult for firefighters to advance.

Microsoft Loses U.S. TikTok Buyout Bid to Oracle

Oracle Corporation, computer software company, was able to buy out the blockbuster app TikTok over Microsoft and other companies who were bidding for it. The Trump administration threatened to ban TikTok due to allegations the app was gathering user information and securing it due to its ties with China. TikTok has brought along many jobs and sparked careers. The app is known as a place to grow brands or reach out to spread information on certain topics of government, camera tips, and even to obtain information on what's happening around the world. TikTok has been downloaded over 175 Million times in the United States and has had over $5.6 billion growth in 2020.
