California is closer to opening amusement parks
California is preparing to reopen theme parks, like Disneyland in the near future. Negotiations are taking place as to what's moving forward and improving with the reopening. Earlier this week Gov. Newsom stated California is working "actively" with Disneyland to help them reopen. Conversations are ongoing as to which theme parks will be reopened because there will be necessary precautions in place as to what is going to be reopened and at what capacity.

Harry Styles kicks off his acting career
Harry Styles has seemed to have found a new interest in movies after he debuted his acting career in the movie "Dunkirk". He landed one of the lead roles in the new upcoming thriller "Don't Worry Darling" directed by Olivia Wilde. He replaced Shia LaBeouf, who left due a scheduling conflict. Insiders say, former boy-band member surprised them by his acting chops in Dunkirk, and will continue pursuing his acting career.

Halloween is indoors this year
The COVID-19 outbreak has caused many setbacks and letdowns. County health officials have officially announced that Halloween must have guidelines to be celebrated this year. Even as COVID-19 remains a serious concern in the United States, many parents and businesses went apoplectic with indignation at the prospect of keeping kids indoors. Many parents are now finding other alternatives to celebrate Halloween while maintaining social distancing and keeping Halloween indoors.

LA Rams take on the Dallas Cowboys in an empty arena
Since playing in the Coliseum for the past four seasons, the oldest stadium of the National Football League, the LA Rams will now be competing in the newest arena, the state-of-the-art, SoFi stadium. Due to COVID-19 they will do it without fans when they take the field against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The Rams are hoping to be able to get people back to the stadium this season but will be providing virtual experiences for now.

Italy shocked by young Black man's violent death
Hundreds of people in Italy attended a funeral procession Saturday for a young Black man, whose violent beating death has shocked the country and drawn criticism from the government's highest levels. Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte attended the funeral of 21 year-old Willy Monteiro Duarte, who was murdered early in a conflict in Colleferro, a town outside Rome. The funeral procession included hundreds of people marching towards the sports stadium where Monteiro Duarte was honored. Prime Minister Conte expressed his condolences how situations like this should not be minimized.
