West Coast Wildfires turn deadly
On September 9th, seven people were pronounced dead from the California, Washington and Oregon wildfires. As the death toll rises, not only are there losses of human lives, but the devastation of thousands of homes being burned down by the high gust winds of a wildfire, where people have no choice but to evacuate. The "National guard" has rescued many civilians, and more than 2.5 million acres of land have been burned, thus turning into the most severe case in American modern history.

Disney releases long awaited movie
The longingly anticipated movie "Mulan" has been released on Disney’s streaming platform Disney+ available for thirty dollars along with a paying subscription. The movie was originally supposed to be released in late March, but due to COVID-19 the date has been pushed back and is now accessible to the online streaming service in early September. Whether or not this movie will be viewed by Disney+ members it will be obtainable for all members in early December. Unlike Disney’s most live action films the movie has a different take from the original.

GameStop closes 300 stores
GameStop has announced that due to the coronavirus outbreak, the number of stores permanently closing will increase more than initially planned. Since sales online has increased, GameStop has decided to pin their focus online. Though the original thought of the outbreak would have had a huge impact on GameStops financial status, surprisingly the outbreak has impacted sales for its online services and had a “sales increase of 800%”. That being said, GameStop plans to expand their brand to users through “interactive digital media”. Though with uncertainty GameStop plans to continue to build value in their brand.

19th Anniversary of September 11th
On September 11, 2001 nearly 3,000 people died when hijackers overtook a plane and crashed into the World Trade Center in New York, not only that another plane was hijacked and nearly crashed into the Pentagon. The Ground Zero memorial in New York, democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden greeted Vice-President Mike Pence. Along with First Lady Melania Trump, Mr. Trump attended a morning service at the Shanksville Memorial to commemorate those lives. President Trump had also made a brief stop in Johnstown, Pennsylvania prior to his visit to Shanksville to meet members of the State Army National Guard.

Keeping up with the Kardashians ends
After 18 seasons the reality TV show “Keeping up with the Kardashians” finally comes to an end. Its last season will air on E. However, the family could buy yet another streaming service contract. The clan, who have shared their lives with audiences over the course of 20 seasons since its launch in 2007, surprised fans with the news of their departure. The Kardashians/Jenners are toying with the idea of a streaming service deal, and the family is also considering starting "their own media company” to continue their success from the hit show.
