Trump calls dead American soldiers “losers” and “suckers”

President Trump refuses to visit a cemetery of American soldiers that have lost their lives in World War I. From multiple different sources, he was said to call these soldiers “losers” and “suckers” begging his way out of the visit because of the foggy flying conditions.

Reported in The Atlantic, “Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as ‘suckers’ for getting killed.”

After this information came out, he refuses to be held accountable. He says, “I would be willing to swear on anything that I never said that about our fallen heroes. There is nobody that respects them more. No animal — nobody — what animal would say such a thing?”

COVID-19 vaccine developers pledge to the safety of the nation

There are dozens of corporations and labs racing to create a vaccine for COVID-19 in order to end the global pandemic. Scientists have been making record time and progress from the added pressure of the government asking for a cure as soon as possible. However shown in history, this may be a hard task to accomplish.

National Geographic states, “It can typically take 10 to 15 years to bring a vaccine to market; the fastest-ever—the vaccine for mumps—required four years in the 1960s.”

Counteracting this, vaccine developers such as Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, and others have pledged not to seek approval of the government, solely focusing on the best cure possible for COVID-19.
