Chaffey Panthers vs College of the Desert Roadrunners Baseball

On Thursday, March 7, 2024, the Chaffey Panthers baseball team faced off against the College of the Desert Roadrunners in a closely scored game. Despite the weather difficulties, the game was fun to watch.
Chaffey College Panthers were able to get four hits during the first two innings. The Roadrunners were not able to score until the third inning, scoring three hits.
Chaffey, led by pitchers Brock Mayer and Brian Garcia, were able to keep The Roadrunners from scoring.
Chaffey College were great on defense, but they were even better on the offensive side. The Panthers finished the game with six runs, 11 hits, and an RBI (runs batted in) of four.
The College of the Desert struggled in the beginning, but were able to catch up. completed the game with five runs seven hits and an RBI (runs batted in) of four.
The Roadrunners, who were led by pitchers Dylan Van Meeteren, Colin Plain and Trevor Stowe, were unable to prevent the Panthers from scoring. The Panthers finished the first game scoring four runs.
While the game provided entertainment, it encountered complications towards the end, leading to its cancellation in the ninth inning due to weather conditions with the score being tied at four.
The game was later rescheduled to be played at College of the Desert on March 9. The updated score shows that Chaffey won the remainder with a score of six to five runs, as per the Chaffey Baseball website.
