Artificial Sound In Soccer Games

What before were stadiums full of euphoria, chants, and a big colorful party, are now a silent space were only the sound the players and the coach giving instructions. An example of this situation was the match between top tier German teams Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, during this match, Dortmund's stadium Signal Iduna Park which can hold up to 81,000 fans, was just an empty space. During the broadcast spectators were able to hear chants from the fans but it turns out it was artificial sound to simulate what was happening during the game, however, it didn't feel the same.

TikTok Will No Longer Be Available

The famous Chinese app TikTok will be restricted to access by Trump's administration on September 20th, however those who already have the app installed on any device will still be able to use it but this app will get deleted from app stores between Sunday and Monday. In an announcement given by TikTok, they state disagree towards the administration's decision. For a some time now, Trump's administration has claimed that the owner of the app, ByteDance, is required to share user data with the Chinese government, so in compromise for the safety and privacy of US users, the app will no longer be available to download.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Dies Aged 87

Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who became a feminist icon in the 1980's, died on Friday September 18th. According to the announcement given by the supreme court, Ginsburg died from pancreas cancer. She joined the fight for women's rights in the 1970's and served 27 years in the supreme court becoming a very important member of the same one. Ginsburg was considered a historic figure and changed the world for American women, during her fight for equal rights for women, they were treated differently by law. Many laws restricted women from doing a wide variety of things that men could do. She became an idol between women.

The Growth of the Major League Soccer

Major League Soccer is US' main professional soccer league, founded in 1993 and having its debut season in 1996. Most people would agree that next to the top European leagues the MLS is in the infancy stages, but when talking about continental dominance it competes very well against the Mexican league. During recent years the MLS has attracted more spectators and has gained more popularity. A very important factor is the incorporations of top tier players that are close to retirement, the most recent examples are Wayne Rooney of DC United and Zlatan Ibrahimović of LA Galaxy. Compared to the European leagues, the MLS does a good job by having a good amount of crowds during each game.

PlayStation 5 Sold Out Fast

Controversy about the PS5 pre-orders has appeared when the developer Sony didn't give a warning about when the console was going to be available for pre-order. Walmart gave an announcement indicating the time when users could pre-order their consoles, a large amount of users waited patiently for the hour just to find out that 30 seconds later the stock was completely sold out. Trying to get a ps5 has been a nightmare for many people. GameStop and Amazon sold out fast as well and on eBay, offers reaching $1000 for the console are already popping up, which is more than the original price given by Sony.
