New California Lockdown Rules
With COVID-19 numbers rising in California, Governor Gavin Newson proposed stricter stay at home sanctions amongst other regulations if availability of intensive care beds falls below 15%. With the number currently dropping towards 12%, a statewide order went into effect on December 6th, issuing these regulations. Some of the regulations include the closing of zoos, theaters, bars, and barber shops. Restaurants are able to stay open but only for takeout. And protesting and religious gathering is allowed, but only outside. And small gatherings within the family is prohibited.

Godfather Director Says He’s Done With Franchise
Coming after the re-edited version of Godfather Part 3, now named The Godfather Coda: The Death Of Michael Corleone. Director of Mario Puzzo adaptation, Francis Ford Coppola, says he is done with the franchise. With this new cut now aligning more with Coppola's vision for the film, he now desires to move on from the franchise and pursue other projects, such as a film about the future. He quoted Alfred Lord Tennyson for this new found inspiration.

Magic Mountain To Extend Christmas Lights To Late January
Due to numerous theme parks closing ahead of these COVID-19 regulations, Six Flags Magic Mountain has opted to extend their Christmas lights for a second time this year, giving families a safe activity to partake in this holiday season.
The drive through experience will be extended to January 31st. Six Flags officials said in a statement, “Our Six Flags Holiday in the Park Drive-Thru Experience will remain open as scheduled… The health and safety of our guests and employees are our top priority, and like other local public venues, we continue to monitor the situation and follow guidance from the state and county officials.”
