Trump says he won’t waste time on a virtual debate

On Thursday morning President Trump announced he would not be wasting his time on a virtual debate because a moderator could cut him off at any time. Saturday will be the 10th day since Trump's positive Covid-19 diagnosis. Dr. Sean Conley, Trump's physician, made a separate announcement stating he anticipates the President’s safe return to public engagements at that time. As of today, the debate is still set to take place in a town hall. The commission's invitation to Trump and Biden to participate remotely was an invitation to the candidates as a curtesy safety measure.

Kamala Harris: “I’m Speaking”

Democratic California State Senator Kamala Harris has been making headlines since Wednesday's debate. Her words "Mr. Vice President, I'm speaking," have resonated with women across the country. As the first Black and South Asian woman chosen as a major party candidate, Harris was doing a lot more than debating her political beliefs and viewers took notice. She was forced to demand time and attention during the debate, which earned her an additional 15 seconds from moderator Susan Page. The now-famous words have also earned her the description of a “monster” as said by President Trump during a Fox Business interview the following morning.
