Classic Disney films now have stronger advisories warning of racist content
Disney+ is now offering warning messages before the start of classic films like Peter Pan, Dumbo, and Lady and the Tramp. They will start before the movie and advise viewers these films may have a depiction of races in an unflattering way. Disney claims, that putting this warning ahead of its movies rather than removing them from the streaming platform is better for the audience because it serves as a lesson. These warning messages cannot be fast-forwarded in order for viewers to know what they are being shown ahead of time.

US tops one-day record with 83,757 COVID-19 cases, exceeding previous summer high
COVID-19 cases are at an all-time high in the United States. On Oct. 23 there were 83,757 new cases reported, making it more than the U.S. had in summer on July 16. A study done by the University of Washington School of Medicine has predicted over 500,000 Americans will be dead by Feb. The cases are expected to continue to grow throughout the winter with high death rights during the new year. Experts are saying COVID-19 may be a seasonal virus we will see growth in during the winter time.

Lawyer for Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner threatens suit over 'defamatory' Lincoln Project billboards
Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are currently suing an anti-Trump Republican group due to “false and defamatory” billboards that popped up in Times Square earlier today. The billboards depict Ivanka Trump comparing the number of New Yorkers to the number of COVID-19 deaths and her smirking while the numbers display.
The other billboard is of Jared Kushner saying “New Yorkers are going to suffer and that’s their problem.”
Their lawyer came has stated that such things were never said and they need to come down but The Lincoln Project told them to kick rocks and that they’re staying up.

Experts are keeping a heavy eye on the swing states as Biden and Trump are neck to neck and those swing voters will determine the faith of the election. The way these experts track these results is by watching six states that flipped red during the last election. These polls are not the official outcome of the election but it is a tool to help the nation understand where everything will be heading.

How one teacher's Black Lives Matter lesson divided a small Wisconsin town
A small Wisconsin town teacher is currently under fire for having a lesson focused on Black Lives Matter. Melissa Statz teaches a class full of curious fourth graders and they had questions about protests in a nearby town so she saw this as a teaching opportunity. The students were willing to learn and a Black student even thanked her for teaching about racism. Later that night parents posted Statz's lesson on a Facebook group while stating she was trying to indoctrinate their children. Statz has said she will not back down because she feels the need to fight for her students and will continue to do so.
