Several blasts of arctic cold will bring an early winter to millions across the US

Central, northern and the southern U.S will be hit with a taste of winter in the upcoming days. The northeastern states will be hit with snow from Thursday into Friday morning. Starting Monday of next week, the temperature will drop anywhere between 10 and 20 degrees below freezing in two-thirds of the eastern U.S.

Amid deaths and illnesses, teen vaping numbers are climbing, fueled by mint-flavored Juul

Research shows teens enjoy purchasing Juul vapes and the mint flavor that is the most popular flavor sold. According to the USA today, 28% of high school students and 11% of middle school students admitted to vaping in the past month. The amount increased from last year by about 2 million.

9 US citizens killed in drug cartel ambush in Mexico

On Nov. 4, in Sinaloa, Mexico a family was ambushed in their 3 SUVS by a drug cartel. One vehicle was left burned and another was left riddled with bullet holes. 8 month old twins were found dead on the scene and 8 young children escaped to find help. A woman hopped out of her car and waved her hands in the air to explain her family wasn't a threat to the cartel. The victims were shown to be related to the LeBaron family.

‘Goodness and humor’ celebrated as ‘Sesame Street’ turns 50

50 years ago, the first episode of Sesame Street aired in 1969. Created by Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett, the inspiration for the show was to teach children, numbering around 120 million. The main focus was to introduce children from ages 2-5 new ways of learning and the differences amongst the characters prior to entering primary school.

AT&T fined $60M for misleading with ‘unlimited’ plans

In 2014, AT&T was charged for misleading customers into purchasing their "unlimited plan" while controlling the downloading speeds. AT&T agreed to pay $60 million of expenses to the Federal Trade Commission. Customers who signed with AT&T before 2011 may file for a refund from the company.
