The Rise to Fame With Ahmad and Jabril

The 21st century has introduced many new trends, one of the latest trends is a video app called Tik Tok. The app Tik Tok gives users all around the world a chance to create and share unique videos. The app has also given some of their users a rise to fame with every video they post.
Ahmad and Jabril Muhammad are two Tik Tok stars from the Inland Empire that made their big debut through Tik Tok. As young children, the two cousins knew that someday they would be on the path to fame. Their video career began at a young age when Jabril bought a cheap computer and used his iPhone 4 to create a YouTube video. When Jabril finished the video he uploaded it onto YouTube and showed Ahmad.
In an interview with the duo they state,
“We had no professional equipment. We only had what was in front of us. Even though we were not getting a lot of views on YouTube back then we still uploaded videos because we loved to make people laugh.”
Eventually, the duo started posting their videos on another video app called Vine. Vine was an American video app that creators were able to upload and share six second videos to the world. Users were able to look at each other’s videos and share them with friends as well. The app discontinued in 2016 due to its popularity going down and the company had made it clear that they were not going to make adjustments or updates to the app. This did not stop Ahmad and Jabril whose life would change drastically shortly after. While the two attended high school, apps such as Tik Tok and Instagram became more popular among social media users.
The two never stopped posting their funny creative videos and it all paid off when their first video on Tik Tok had hit 10k views. Videos such as their “Trapped in the Closet” skit received a couple thousand views on Tik Tok. The tik tok duo also post their videos on Instagram and have gained an audience on their platforms.
The unique part about their videos is that they create content that today’s generation can relate to. Their videos cover life situations such as break ups, relationships and even, pranks. It is something that Generation Z can all relate to. When creating such content Jabril is the man behind the script and music. He is able to mix and create sounds to go over their Tik Tok videos and bring them to life. Ahmad brings the acting to the videos and charm. Anything written on a script Ahmad is able to act it out and make it humorous.
The Tik Tok duo is also making their big debut in the acting scene starring in a new show called “The Terminal List.” The Terminal List is a new series that is set to debut on Amazon Prime Video. Actors such as Chris Pratt and Constance Wu will be featured on the new series alongside Ahmad and Jabril. The duo are also producing and writing a new series called “What They Don’t Know.” The new series is about five teenagers in high school who go to a party and somebody gets murdered. The series will also contain a cast of different ethnic backgrounds.
In an interview Ahmad and Jabril state,
“We believe that there should be minority representation in Hollywood. Growing up and watching TV there were not enough people who looked like us on television. We want to bring representation to Hollywood.”
A new clothing line is also in the making for the young stars. Paradise Pluto is a new clothing line that will soon be available to the public soon. The clothing line is inspired by street wear and the pieces include items such as jackets, hoodies, jean pants and big t shirts. As for the duos future hopes and dreams they plan on acting more and becoming big in the Hollywood scene. They hope to someday leave their print in the acting industry and open doors for other young influencers like them.
