A collection of performances from Professor Adam Martinez and student poets at the Wignall Museum Home Exhibition opening night.
The Wignall Home Exhibition opening night featured guest performances from poets at Chaffey College. Professor Adam Martinez was joined by his students in a multimedia poetry slam featuring dazzling video displays projected behind the poets.
Adam Martinez, aka Adam et al. is a liminal creative and educator from the Inland Empire in Southern California. He makes raps, indie-folk-emo-pop, and is a beloved English professor at Chaffey College. He earned is Bachelor of Arts in English at the University of California, Riverside, and a dual Master’s of Arts and Master’s of Fine Arts in English and Creative Writing from Chapman University.
He invited his students Miguel-Angel (Teyatli) Hernandez, Imani C. Johnson, and Nic Kawecki to perform some of their music and poetry.
