Post Election Clarity

A variety of people on campus were asked the question “No matter what you think of who won how will you continue to make the world a better place?”. 

These are their responses. 

“I will participate in rallies and hand out more flyers. Now that Trump is back in office, I want to participate.” - Agnia

“Try to be the change that I want the world to be.” -Sarah

“It’s about moving forward, and helping your community.” -Jesse, political science major 

“I didn’t vote, and I’m just living my life and doing my thing.”-Jared Soto, Kinesiology major

“I will continue to make the world a better place by showing as much kindness to as many people as I can”- Alessandra Torres, nursing major

“I will care for patients and show kindness”- Thuy, nursing major 

“It doesn’t matter who would have won, I’ll just bend the same with just minor changes”- Andrea, Business major

“Move forward, and make the best of my situation. America will still be America at the end of the day.”- Christian, computer science

“For me, I like to keep things clean and give out to the homeless.”- Sarina, nursing major

“I’m working in radiology because I want to help people, so I just want to continue to help people.”- June, Radiology major 

“Keep focusing on my job and the priorities of the students, so I can get you guys whatever you need” Monique, purchasing employee at chaffey

“Keeping my morals and what I think no matter who the president is”- Alice, undeclared 

“It’s important to keep your morals and stay together with your family and as a country”- Gwen, psychology major

“I think by spreading kindness, just always being kind to everybody”- Yousef, business major

All around hope is persistent on some level here on campus.
