Panthers win over East L.A., now lead South Coast Conference

The Panthers defeated the East L.A. Huskies last Friday, 85 to 74, currently placing them first in the South Coast Conference. They lead with four games to zero, and Mt. SAC trails closely behind at three to one. 

Head coach Jeff Klein attributed the win to an all around good defense and rebound opportunities, with Brian Beard scoring 33 points and Kameron Curl scoring 21. The next game will be against Mt. SAC at the Chaffey Sports Center on Wed., Feb. 1 at 5 p.m.
