Protest Week: Ground Zero

On Feb. 2, 2025, thousands of protesters took to the streets of Los Angeles in solidarity with countless undocumented migrants that have been detained by I.C.E. (Immigration & Customs Enforcement). These drastic actions are a result of the eight Executive Orders regarding the southern border under the current Trump Administration. The protests resulted in the closure of the U.S. 101, both north and southbound, as protesters and law enforcement engaged in a standoff at the freeway entrance. I went there with my Canon T7, and captured the following.
