The Breeze at KVCR
By Jose Pereida
KVCR is an Emmy-award winning PBS station. KVCR airs Sesame Street, The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross, Arthur, local news and many more programs.
I was able to photograph The Breeze's great tour led by KVCR Community Engagement Manager Victoria Wiarco, and Social Media/Member Services, Justin Verduzco. The entire staff emphasized that KVCR is a non-profit organization that relies on their supporters due to public service being their single mission.
The Breeze had a fun time practicing their radio voices with a little help by Producer Shareen Awad. The tour took a quick stop at the next-door offices which were held by the PBS programming team, led by Program Coordinator, Benjamin Holland.
The Breeze was guided to their television studio production with Emmy-award winning director Tim Stylte. The final stop in the tour was the editing bay for KVCR, where the Breeze took a quick glance at their offices and KVCR's Emmy, which every staff member took a photo with.
