PlayStation Delisting Cyberpunk 2077 'Influenced' Sales on Other Platforms, CDPR Says

CD Project says its Cyberpunk 2077 sales figures should take into account the decisions made by Sony to delist Cyberpunk from the PSN store.

The CDPR executive said, “In general I would say that the sentiment about Cyberpunk and the situation with the Sony digital storefront — the fact that we were cut off from large portions of the market which may have also indirectly affected gamers’ decision to purchase the game on other platforms — definitely influenced the sales,”.

Sony took Cyberpunk off its storefront on Dec. 17,2020 due to widespread of criticism for the performance issues on consoles compared to PC. CD project estimates it has issued 30,000 refunds thus far.

UC Riverside plans limited in-persons graduation without guest

As thousands of UC Riverside students can look forward to walking the stage this June in a limited in-person commencement that will differ substantially from large pre-pandemic ceremonies. Both students who graduated in 2020 and those graduating with the Class of 2021 have been invited by Chancellor Kim A. Wilcox to participate in events scheduled to run Saturday, June 12, through Monday, June 14.

Graduating students, Wilcox’s letter said, will sign up for individual blocks of time to walk across a stage, one at a time, at one of two venues: the Student Recreation Center-North Gymnasium or the University Theatre. According to Wilcox’s letter, students won’t be permitted to bring along guests inside or outside either venue, but the graduation will be live-streamed so family members and friends may watch online and video recording will be made so they can view ceremonies later.
