Supreme Court Appears Ready to Let Trump End DACA Program

The conservative majority in the Supreme Court seems to be on Trump's side in his attempt to end the program that is protecting around 700,000 immigrants who are labeled as "Dreamers." The more liberal justices in the court question the reasoning behind the effort, while others are saying that the reasoning that has already been provided is enough for them. The program was first introduced by President Obama in 2012, and lets young immigrants to be brought to the U.S. apply for a temporary status that protects them from deportation for 2 years. This protection can be renewed, but does not give ways for DACA recipients to become U.S. citizens.

These documents go all the way back to 20 years ago.
