Democrats See Impeachment Proceedings Take Longer Than Some Initially Expected
Democrats in the House are running out of time to finish up their investigation into whether it was an abuse of the presidential office for Trump to try and pressure Ukraine to investigate those who are running against him this year. The goal to have their investigation finished, and Trump impeached, by Thanksgiving is proving to be more difficult than some democrats had originally hoped it would be. This is because every witness that has been interviewed has given the House more leads to check into, and the fact that some witnesses have had to be rescheduled.

Priest Pleads Guilty Again to Sexually Abusing Children
On Monday, 78 year-old Howard White Jr. plead guilty of three counts of second-degree forcible rape, eight counts of second-degree forcible sex offense and seven counts of indecent liberties with a child. He was then sentenced to 12 years in prison. White Jr. is a former North Carolina Episcopal priest who has been to prison before on charges of child sexual abuse. Last year's charges of abusing a boy and a girl in the 1980s came during an 18-month stint he was doing for pleading guilty in 2017 to assaulting a student at St. George's School in Middletown, Rhode Island.

Brush Fire Burns Near Pacific Palisades Homes with Evacuations Underway
Firefighters are dealing with a brush fire that ate through 30 acres of land in Pacific Palisades, and is burning worryingly close to the multimillion dollar houses located in a hillside neighborhood. Firefighters arrived to 500 N. Palisades Dr. at 10:40 a.m. on Monday to begin fighting the blaze. It started out as a one acre blaze the grew to 30 acres within an hour, and had increased to 40 by the middle of the day.

Netanyahu Fails to Form a Government, Leaving Israel as Divided as Ever
As of Monday, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stopped all attempts to form a government, which has left Israel no closer to knowing who its next leader will be than it was before. This abandonment of the formation of a government has left a way for whoever the next leader is to give it a try. It is still to be seen whether or not this is the beginning of the end for Netanyahu, who is Israel's longest standing prime minister.This could also be just another political standoff that has stalled the government for six months.

Oakland A's New Stadium is Being Built to Address Rising Sea Levels
Oakland A's team president Dave Kaval is hoping to build a new baseball stadium that will last 100 years. In order to accomplish this feat, the A's are having to deal with a growing list of issues, a lot of which may not come about until years down the road. Oakland is insistent on building the stadium on. the water, which might seem like a questionable decision, since water levels are predicted to rise around the proposed construction site over the next few years.
