How OPARC, a private nonprofit, provides benefits to those in our community, who have physical and/or mental challenges.
First, the viewer is introduced to Andrea, a member of the executive board who speaks highly of the facility, individuals and the work that gets done there. Then, proceed to hear from individuals, staff and trainees about just how long they’ve been at OPARC: they range from as few as two years, to as many as 20.
Tara, is an employee at OPARC. She enjoys the work she does. Then, a trainee ambassador discusses why she believes that it creates a safe haven for success and how easy it is to change someone’s life for the better. We then hear from a line supervisor how had met his girlfriend through the organization.
Tiffany, an OPARC trainee, shares her experiences working at the facility, and how she enjoys making her own jewelry and is interested in starting her own business selling that jewelry someday. A second interview with the ambassador of OPARC reveals how she feels about the company and her position within. The video closes shining on how there is room to socialize, grow and succeed.
As a private organization, OPARC does not have much press coverage. The cause is a noble one, and it’s important for the public to be aware of the opportunities being created, while the trainees deserve press coverage to ensure that executives are aware of the public eye.
