2020 Fashion Comebacks
Fashion has plays a significant role in everyday lives from models, influencers, artists etc. How do you think they get so much inspiration to give through their fashion? We all get dressed and ready everyday, but what is our inspiration for our outfits. What is our everyday fashion, what have we got from past trends?
2020 fashion revolved around mostly celebrities and what we took from them to form our own style. A few dominating themes in fashion revolves around Zendaya's pop of color, Harry Style's feminine-masculine alt-retro look, A$AP Rocky's street style, and Kylie Jenner's trendy looks.
ELLE, "9 new trends for 2020 like colorful leather, puff sleeves, 90s knitwear, square toe boots, prairie, daytime clutches, shorts of every kind, strong suits with feminine touches, and modern folk."
Strong suits with feminine touches worn by many men that everyone loved, and sort of colorful leather like brown and red. Although all nine didn't work out last year, it wasn't a bad year in fashion. Now let's think what do we all have in common... originality but also creativity, let's think of major fashion trends in 2020, like biker shorts, leather/denim jacket and pants, tie-dye, and corsets. Not only was it the clothing that had returned from past eras but also accessories as in chokers, hair clips, and retro shades. Actually, corsets were all the way back from the 1500s, but most of these trends were from the 60s,80s,90s and even early 2000s!
Also, there are so many other trends that came back that I didn't even realize, Cosmopolitan, exemplifies "Cardigans, sheer clothing, bandanas, bucket hats, fanny packs and so many other trends; it's been 30 years since the decade started, but that hasn't stopped these iconic looks from resurfacing."
Most of the older generations were taken aback to see kids walking around wearing accessories and clothes they used to wear.
We all wear fashion totally different. Some wear denim on denim like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake back in 2001, or when cyclists loved wearing biker shorts back in the 1980s. How could we forget about tie-dyes peace and love back in the 1960s when everyone was wearing it. I have always looked back for fashion ideas then I realized how we all do; how amazing it is to bring everything back to our new errand feel probably more comfortable now that we all do it together! How many of us went on Pinterest and saw a cute outfit, then went to the mall or thrift store to find something similar. Making it into our own style like maybe threw on some retro shades, or switched something up. Thats how it works, we see something we love and maybe it already has a trend on it, but then we make it more trendy by adding our own twist and posting it on social media like every influencer.
