Chaffey College provides a variety of services that can help students pursue their educational goals. But a lot of these services are underused and outright unnoticed. There are over 30 students services, each with different benefits that could significantly impact student success.

These services come in the form of student health, emotional support, food, housing, tutoring, artistic practice, community activities and more. They are funded and operated by students and staff, and are ready to assist. Furthermore, part of the the student tuition fee goes directly into funding these services. Every student is entitled access to all Chaffey student programs.

Below are just a few of the student services:

1. Student Success Center

The Student Success Center (SSC) is a total helping environment. There is tutoring for students having trouble with math homework, for perhaps struggling with writing a paper, or even exam preparations. The SSC provides support in almost all academic subjects. Simply enter with a photo ID and you'll be met with assistance immediately.

2. Library

The library largely attracts students looking for a relaxed and quiet environment to catch up on studying, and who wish to explore the vast catalog of books available. But this building is also a place of resource. Students can access a computer, print out a document, scan a document, check out a private room for focused studying, or even a rest area between classes. The Rancho Campus library is open Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

3. One Book, One College

As the name of the program suggests, this community brings college students together to come and select one book, and then base social activities around the theme of the selected book. Students may consider this service an opportunity to meet other like-minded individual who love to read and study literature. For more information visit: www.chaffey.edu/collegebook/index.shtml

4. CCSG Scholarships

Here at Chaffey, it is understood that college expenses can cause struggle and difficulty for any student. But there is help available thanks to Chaffey College Student Government (CCSG) Scholarships, and it's a matter of seeking and asking for assistance. The CCSG is one of many ways to receive assistance for Chaffey tuition. According to their website, CCSG awards approximately $100,000 in scholarships each spring semester to Chaffey students. Call in and speak to an advisor who will show you how to apply.
